Default JAZZ JOURNAL....UK JAZZ MAGAZINES.....UNIQUE COLLECTION from 1948 to 2013

I need some space, so selling my collection of jazz mags.

724 magazines from the very first issue in May 1948, right through until 2013. some missing.
My collection was complete at one point, but Ive mis-placed some. I can be more specific to anyone who is keen.

But with a monthly issue, you will see that not many are missing. The early ones are rare and sought after, making this a fairly rare collection.

have a look on Ebay. individual copies sell for £5 ish. complete years for £15 to 20 ish.

I havent got the patience to sell like that, so am hoping for a job lot purchase.

    My price is £300.

So, thats 724 issues of this JAZZ JOURNAL, and some other jazz mags that I have. I dont know what these extras are right now. whatever I can find. Just think of these as a free bonus.

Due to the bulk and weight, postage is out of the question. So, collection from West Lancs. I may be able to deliver, or meet half way for a contribution to my petrol costs.

    Still available.

I will split this collection, so if you want a complete year, or even a single issue, please get in touch.

    thanks.

Ps, all "years" are in seperate plain brown envelopes. So, discretion assured.

Ive been asked to clarify what issues are missing.

    January 64
January 78. turns out that there was no issue that month. I have 2 copies of feb 78.
    September 2007
    January 2009
    March 2009
    April 2009

Then there are 4 complete years missing. 1951,52,53 and 54. these would have been complete and in brown envelopes ( as all years are ) but Ive lost them somewhere along the line.

    So, 54 missing in total.

regarding how hard to find the missing ones. I dont really know as I dont keep an eye on the market. But they are all over Ebay and patience would probably find them.

Then it really would be a rare collection. As it is , it is still pretty special.

    These are still available.

Just to remind folks that I have approx 60 complete years on offer, plus a few years with just one copy missing.

Complete years sell on ebay for decent money, especially the early years versions.
for example, here are a few which sold on ebay for 25/35 pounds per year.

I have no selling history on ebay, and I havent really got the time to sell these as individual years, so would prefer to sell as a job lot.

Anyone with the time to put in a little effort, can make a nice little profit here.
Go on, you know it makes sense.

    60 x 10/15/20 pounds........... Nice !!!!

Im coming up to Scotland soon, and could bring these with me!!

Each year is in its own brown envelope, with just the year written on.
