Minifin drums. And so much more. It would pull 106 mph (according to the rev counter on the 3.44 to 1 diff), which may not sound much these days, but the acceleration was great. Used to blow the old XR2s/XR3s and Golf GTis into the weeds and was absolutely the best handing motor I've ever come across.......

No longer owned, although I did have it for ~15 yrs.
Sensually contoured Contraption .. (yes I did fit all the bits, soon after these photos) It was a 96 point car.
Proved as Problematic to drive though as it garnered unwanted attentions.. from the most frightening members of society..
An unsettling view of the underbelly.
Humans can be very unimpressive creatures.
Curiously IMO/experiences.. one needed to be either a fool or very brave to race in one.
Single use brakes .. really! (terminal Fade) and the unrestrained rear axle made for interesting Adventures.
Miss it as an object, certainly Not as a vehicle

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

After yesterday's snow today dawned bright clear skies and a high of 5'c so it out for a wee run aided by a good woolly hat, don't half get some strange looks from folk, what do they expect from a convertible driver, of course the top will be down and the music turned up. Fine start to the year.
Please take good care of your S2k keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart and share the quality and legacy of the S2k with many friends so that the legend of the S2k will continue for long. Shigeru Uehara Designer Honda S2000.

Sold this a year ago after what must have be thousands of miles and thousands of pounds beating the poor thing on many race tracks (including a trip to the ring).

Mainly due to wanting to get more speed for less money. So after a RSV and Blade, I settled on this..

As well as the 10R, this very rarely finds it's way onto the highway...
XR4X4 2.9i. Pretty much in perfect condition and with a lowly 69K on the clock
