    Default Dan Hicks R.I.P

Great singer songwriter he had a great album out in the early 70's called "Striking it rich" it had " I scare myself" and canned music playing him last night.
    Sorely missed died of cancer.

    Regards,

    Martin

    Christ, what a year already....

    Sad, sad news.

Striking it Rich is a perfect record, no fillers, every track a gem. Beautiful, original and witty music of the highest calibre.

We're losing them faster than we're replacing them.....

Mmmm... never really heard of him but I certainly do know "I Scare Myself" and yes, they are passing on quicker than we are replacing them. I worry about the future and I am not talking global warming.

Ah yes, I know that song! However, the Thomas Dolby version is the one I'm familiar with (from my era):

Didn't know that Dan Hicks did the original. Interesting
