    Yes, his ability to put you in the guy's shoes on a boat is excellent. Used to have a few of his books on paperback, but they all went alas, but I now have a kindle and a number of other ereaders, plus ipad etc so now am all electronic book wise. Calibre program is excellent for keeping tabs on them, as it takes books from all the formats.

    Currently got Audible on listening to Flashman and the Redskins. Narrated by Colin Mace. All these books are superb either in reading or listening form

    Probably Barry. it is like music to the ears at times...he is a fascinating and funny man. still going too I believe.


    ...My monthly Audible token has been burning a hole in my cyber pocket, so used it to get the audiobook of Alex Haley's ROOTS. not read the book ; only seen the show.... so when The current 2 are finished, this will be on.
