    Default Little dot Mk2

Hello all. Sry if this is going over old ground but I need the advice of the Electricwizards on the forum.

I was just about to order a Little dot Mk2 from amazon, have read loads of reviews etc and my existing amp has no headphone output, was really looking foreward to trying one, also as a pre at a later date.
But they seem to be only rated to 220v?

Are these things really ok in the UK or do they have a high Fail rate?

I cant seem to find out much about longevity with these.

    Thanks guys. John.

should be ok ..uk mains is not as stable as you think ! once visited a power station and the control room indicated it was putting out 40hz ..when pointed out ..was told no will notice !
make certain the fuses have the correct values .... as I'd expect the unit to draw a little more power than expected. There are lots of these units about now so a google check should pull up any obvious failure rate .

I have the Little Dot +1 (220v), and no problems so far, the manufacturers suggest you use it for a max of 8hrs at a time, not sure if this is due to being 220v though ?

I have used mine for 5 hrs straight, no problem with overheating

    Hope this helps ?
