im thinking between 2 hifi rack shelves underneath the turntable??

Be careful where you put it. Plasticine contains oils that can leech into porous materials.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I once filled the underside of my 124 with plasticine thinking it would add mass, it did and the bass was more concentrated, but after a while I realised the life had gone, the dance was subdued, so I took it out.
My deck is now in a solid plinth and I use 1" thick Sorbothane blocks for isolation.

When fresh and pliable it could well be useful for isolation. But unless periodically 'kneaded', it will become hard and stiff, negating any useful properties it has when fresh. The same goes for BluTack. I would suggest you would be better off and experiment with Sorbothane.

Is a rubbery plasticine like adhesive that Never dries out / becomes hard, Or leaves residue/stains. Instantly removable too :-)
Great for Isolating/fixing things like Speakers onto Wooden floors (beats the hell out of Spikes) Or? onto shelves, table tops.
