I've just bought a 1219 and love it sounds great and is dead easy to us, don't think there's a great deal of difference between the 1019 and the 1219 (platter is smaller) and I also bought a cartridge carrier to be able to change carts easily and it cost me £27 from Thakker in Germany so the 1019 represents a complete bargain IMO.

I had the JVC TT that I bought a few months ago delivered by the seller travelling by train and carrying it in a suitcase hint hint
TT sold, Denon sold, everything else still available.

Ah, I see. What I'm looking for is a proper vintage one, as is shown in the link I provided, so it should have a swallow on it. You also get brown-bodied ones like that, too.

Rowe Ami (or possibly rowe or ami. they became the same company) used these carts in their juke boxes Marco(used to service them)... well the 44's anyways... not sure about the E... used to have hundreds of them floating aboutCheck on us ebay and you may find one. they were very good.
