    I'm Gary.

    Default Smallest bedroom system..

A wee addition to the system.

I had a "normal" hifi in the bedroom before, but it started to get silly and stopped it looking like a bedroom, so sold some stuff, gave some away and I haven't had a system in there for a while now.
No biggie, at night when your in your kipper, you don't do the whole sit down in front of the speakers and listen thing really.

Recently though if having an early one I've been listening more and more to music at night...
Been streaming music to the tablet, and whilst the sound is "not bad", it ain't great.
Wanted something that sounds a bit better so got the thinking cap on.

Got me one of these, Logitech Squeezebox Boom, a minty McMint example sold by a squeezebox fan so all good.

Long discontinued and missed the boat when they first came out but perfect for what I want.
A Squeezebox user for years, have a Transporter in the main system and use the phone/tablet to browse my music, exactly the same with this.
With the Squeezebox system there is so much you can do, so offers up a lot of options. Great alarm clock too!
Most importantly, no speaker stands, no trailing cables and no big black boxes!

    Actually about the sound quality?
The guys who developed it seem to have taken sound quality seriously, its supposed to sound great.
I read this white paper on the audio design of the thing, some good stuff in there.
