Sounds like a classic dry joint scenario.
Closely inspect all the soldered joints on the pcb, if any look 'crazed' or dull rather than bright you have probably found the fault.

Thanks Alan, i will have a look at it when i get home. Never had an amp with this much stuff in it though so i reckon it will take a couple of hours just to get the pcb out so i can have a look at it. Elctro cleaner spray wont do much here i guess? The only way to fix it is to desolder and resolder the joint if i find it.
You don't need to get the board out, unless that is you can't get to the underside without doing so.
No Electro cleaner won't work. You usually only have to resolder the joint with a little fresh solder, good luck.
