I wasn't expecting that !!! BrAun system

I have had this system in storage for a couple of years Yes I know I will get some stick

Its a Buaun comprising of a :-

P2 Turntable

R1 Amp / Tuner

C2 Cassette dack

and a pair of LS 130 speakers

Humped it downstairs today as I am not working , Threw it together with cheap interconnects and speaker cables

Switched it on , It lit up on all 3 units ( good sign )

Pressed the draw open button for the cassette deck and the draw motored out , put a Pretenders Cassette in , pressed play and NOTHING

However the VU LEDs were moving , Twat try pressing the speaker A button and GORD BLIMEY it works and sounds very good

I then switched to the TT and am currently listening 2 TFF

I think this lot will now have a permanent place in my listening room Very impressed and I have not set the TT up yet ( tracking weight or anti skate ) don't even know what the cartridge is yet

Christ thoses speakers look like they could do a bit of damage. Mid range domes too. Lets see a bit more of them. Have you tried them out?
