    Can't remember exactly what was in it or what the folders might have been named, but I searched for insurance certificate scans and only stuff in documents is coming up.

    Checked stored earlier copies of disc C at restore points back to 1st Sept and it's not on those either.

    The annoying thing about doing the impending W7 reinstall, is that the PC will be running slow for a day or two 'cos W7 will want to download masses of updates, 'cos it's an old O/S.

    was just reading the cc cleaner has been hacked. it seems to be affecting the 32 bit version

    Could be time to start doing backups/ clones. I just copied C: to two external drives.

    Yeah. Saw that. Mine is old and 64 bit.

    Got a spare external drive. Never bother with it though. Suppose I could bung Linux on it (or even a few Linux distros ).
