Sound was ugly at first day, it's much better now, but I gonna continue break-in at least 10 days before serious audition.

I have a very good unit myself and I gave it to a friend since I have far too many decks. This is one of the best and underrated vintage decks. I installed Stanton 680 instead of some agricultural Audio Technica originally there and it sounds superb on the end of a lovely vintage system.

For installation of standard cartridges ELAC Miracord 50 H requires special interconnection.

I beleive I'm still far away from completion of process of breaking-in Neotech cables. I can hear sound gap between 1st day and today: some separate sounds jumped out from musical canvas, but at whole sound is still not good.

I'm guessing such delay in breaking-in process (130 hrs were overlapped already) determined by length of XLR cables.

    Funny thing.

I received Formosa (top RCA interconnect cable of Neotech) together with my new Neotech cables (probably for reviewing). It replaced Acoustuc Revive top RCA cable between AMR DP-777 (as PreAmp) and my HeadAmp.

I always claimed on my headphones HiFiMan HE-1000 that some musical information was hidden. And I blamed headphones stock cable. Today I found that Formosa opens taht lost part of musical picture. Synergy by the word.

I received from capitol this Pre Amp 2 days ago for test and probably - for purchase.

It's PS Audio PCA-2 with Analog HCPS (external PSU).

No any detailed review regarding this device, actually it's strange.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
