Saying that i picked up a Yamaha VS-10 today from a charity for £4 i passed then went back and got it as was too good to pass using as a bedroom system radio its quite supersizing sound quality worth nowt but OK.

That is a thing of beauty. I'm lusting after this (and possibly the SACD player with it as well) which you could say is its descendant:



It will have to wait until I've got the house and the finances, mind...

Thanks. So far I've shied away from changing the feet as I like it to still look like a Techie, although I may invest at some point. The 309 was a good move for me, though. It feels much more confidence-inspiring in use than the Technics arm, and lifted the performance considerably.
