Hi, my name is Andy and odviously new to the forum being a music fan from an early age, listening to my brothers prog rock on his music centre, this led me into loving music from the late sixties to middle seventies, plus anything that is good from any other eras, and , into audio and audio forums, so here l am my system is AVID Volvere/SME V /Lyra Helikon/ TE The Groove with a Jungson JA88D 80W class A intergrated amp and Harbeth Compact 7ESs these have Totem Beaks- and yes they do work -and how! (god knows how) the Harbs sit on Skylan 4-post stands, all isolation is provided by Soundcare Superspikes, inexpensive but work superbly, my room is 12f x 11f and the Harbs sound like a pair of headphones, CD l am using a Denon DVD1000,but do not use this much, at the moment l am playing around with a Technics SL1200 MK2 which l bought from E-bay, and l have to say l shocked how good this sounds, and recently also brought a Cambridge Audio 640P and again was very suprised how this sounded, if any body wants to talk-you know where l am, going to play some music now...... see ya
