    Default One of my cassette players

    This one is a Nakamichi BX-150E dual head machine

    It sounds mighty fine , But is no Dragon This is the specification :-

    The Nakamichi BX-150/BX-150E is a 2-head stereo cassette recorder with Dolby B and C noise reduction.

    Type: 2-head, single compact cassette deck

    Track System: 4-track, 2-channel stereo

    Tape Speed: 4.8 cm/s

    Heads: 1 x record/playback, 1 x erase

    Motor: 1 x reel, 1 x capstan

    Tape Type: type I, Cr02, Metal

    Noise Reduction: B, C

    Frequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz (Metal tape)

    Signal to Noise Ratio: 68dB (dolby C)

    Wow and Flutter: 0.06%

    Total Harmonic Distortion: 1.0%

    Input: 50mV (line)

    Output: 0.5V (line)

    Dimensions: 430 x 110 x 250mm

    Year: 1984 ( Good year for cassette machines

    Sorry the mike in my camera is crap it does sound a lot better

    I bought a sherwood deck many years ago decades for sure. I love that deck. I could go thru all the specs but the bottom line is it records and sound great. I would like to one day get the original manual for it but would be a hassle to go thru that. Tape still has its place in my life.
