This is not a FUNNY video, it's actually extremely sad on both an emotional and intellectual level.

Sadly, the video is representative of the kind of selfish fuckheads who populate this world.

The trouble is, too many people today are only concerned with what's happening inside their own insular little bubble...

    Marco.
I'm 100% with you on this point, Marco.
There are a few things I'd like to point out to the car driving public that doesn't cycle as well.

1 - It is not acceptable to expect cyclists to ride in the gutter - the state of the roads in Britain range from fair (quite rare) to apocryphal (more often the case), and often the only suspension on a bicycle is its tyres/innertube. Riding in the gutter is dangerous because of ironworks below the road's surface (talking drain covers here). You wouldn't drive a car through a pothole, and it's not acceptable to expect someone to ride a bicycle through one.
    Give the cyclist room.

2 - It is not acceptable to expect cyclist to cycle close to parked cars.
All it takes is for someone to throw a car door open to get out of a vehicle and it could be goodnight Vienna for the cyclist.
    Give the cyclist room.

3 - Don't expect cyclists to stick to cycle lanes when they're in the gutter at the side of the road - see point 1.
    Give the cyclist room.

4 - Don't endanger cyclists by attempting to squeeze past cyclists when there isn't the space to safely do so. You have four wheels so you don't fall over easy and you have a metal shield around you to protect you from impact.
The cyclist does not have these advantages.
    Give the cyclist room.

Having seen the video I can see that there is fault on both sides.
The cyclist was not in the wrong at the offset, but his pursuit and confrontation of the driver was a bit antagonistic, to say the least.
As a car driver myself I hope the police have seen the video and prosecuted the driver - he's an inconsiderate. stupid and wreckless idiot, who should be done not only for dangerous driving, but also for attempted assault.

That the car driver tripped and fell over and hopefully injured himself is rough justice - I hope his fall has caused him much pain.
With idiots like that car driver going around is it any wonder that cyclists are using cameras to gather evidence?

Bet she feels better after that..
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

I'm just about to watch that, so will let you know what I think - knowing you, however, it'll be up my street!

Returning to the points that Chris has made, I completely and utterly agree. However, with this particular cyclist, I can't help but detect a distinct agenda of 'I've been fucked up by motorists in the past, so I'm waging war against them now, and going to get my revenge', which is unacceptable, completely idiotic and destined only to end one way... BADLY!

What he should be doing is forgetting about the bad behaviour of motorists [whilst of course taking acceptable steps to protect himself], losing the victim attitude, and concentrating instead on being a model cyclist. That way, he'll probably live longer and not get into so many scrapes!

You don't pay road tax either, Al.

I must admit I am shocked that anyone is taking the driver's side in this. His aggression is sickening, there can be no excuse for that kind of behaviour, no matter what weird views you may have about cyclists.
