I'm using Classic Shell with 8.1 on one PC. Still prefer W7 on my other PC though.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

For those of use who are concerned about the privacy policies on W10, there is a good article at http://bgr.com/2015/08/14/windows-10...-privacy-tools on how to protect yourself by blocking some of those spying routes.

The question that you should ask yourself is how your life would be enriched if you switched to W10. In my case I cannot find any. All the important programs that I must be able to run are fully compatible with W7 and W8.1. Do I want to run the risk of bringing my business to a grinding halt if I install W10? Nope. so I use it on a machine to play about with. For the more serious stuff I am sticking to W7 on one machine, and W8.1 on another.

Thanks for the wise words. I have a Windows 7 laptop which is working just fine and a Macbook, so I don't need Windows 10. I was just thinking that I should be up to date.

If you are happy with Windows 7 I would stick with it for now, I had major problems trying to upgrade form Windows 7. I then tried a fresh install of Windows 10 with no problems, but I am sticking with 7 for the time being.
