Hi Jamie. Are you using the KLHs again or persevering with the 44s?

The 44s are no doubt on immediate hearing, more 'impressive' than the KLHs, but my suspicion is that the KLHs will prove to be the better speakers ultimately (even if a supertweeter might help them along just a bit).

staying with the 44's geoff at the moment,ive just recapped them and they are sounding rather nice,yes the klh's only loose out to the 44's at the top end.

Junk the spare sofa. Sound is first priority and lets face it the thing looks like it will walk out on its own given a nudge.

yep it was a lovely turntable but alas there was too much play in the bearing,im much happier with the lp12.
