Farmers are generally short red faced men who are always angry. They also have shotguns.

My son's a farmer. He's fair-haired, about 6' 2", definitely not red-faced and usually very placid. He does have a shot-gun though. Three, in fact. One pump-action. And a .22 rifle. And he doesn't take kindly to sheep rustlers.
