You need to go out with women who've grown up in a traditional 'food culture', and so have learned to cook, over generations, from their mothers and grandmothers.

Asians [Indians and Chinese] would be a good bet, or really anyone who's been brought up in a family with traditional values that 'lives to eat', and where food is seen as a massively important thing, rather than one that merely 'eats to live', and sees food simply as 'sustenance', living off of 'chicken ding' every night...

That's the problem in the UK: there's way too many of the latter, and not enough of the former!
