Default Servicing Van Den Hul MC One

    Hi,

I've got a lovely VDH MC One which unfortunately shorts every now and then (not sure if that's the right diagnosis of the symptom).
Who would be a good port of call for fixing it and does anyone have a clue as to the charge? The cartridge hasn't been used much and seems in a great shape otherwise.

    Thanks,
    Martin

Dunno how much Dom would charge though, you'd need to ask.

On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

You could even go straight to VDH.

Surely just send it back to VDH? That's a damn good cartridge.

    Absolutely!
Definitive Audio are the current importers, I believe ... they'll give you contact details if not on the web.

Slightly dreading the estimate. The cartridge is amazing, just seems that one of the tiny wires connecting the coils is not attached properly, but can be anything... i have now switched to a MM shure ultra 500 and very happy with it, but the mc one is in a different league.
