Bloody typical! I order a pair of speaker drive units from America and they get all the way to the UK and the nearest delivery depot, only to be delivered to the wrong address. Now I haven't a clue where they are. I've just sent a message to the US seller. Possibly they can get the delivery found (slim chance). Don't suppose I'll hear anything until tomorrow.

I specifically needed these units for a project.

Tiny 3" full range drivers with an unusual 12 ohm rating.

A bit of luck. The parcel was at the local sorting office awaiting a customs payment. Mystified as to why it was shown as delivered though.

The speakers are very nice indeed. Should be perfect for my scheme.

Things have just taken a funny turn. I've been very naughty and bought this Decca Mk.III elliptical.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3017701166...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Spur of the moment purchase. I'd been considering another Mk.IV for a while and spotted the Mk.III newly listed today. The 'ED' written on it stands for elliptical diamond. Should sound stunning.

Anybody got an FFSS SME headshell mounting adaptor or FFSS arm going at a sensible price?

Now the bad news. Just unpacked a box that arrived today. Yes, it's another GL75 turntable. I warned the seller that they have a very fragile polystyrene lid that breaks easily, that should be removed and packed separately and that the platter should also be taken off, wrapped and placed under the plinth for transit. He obviously thought different. It has a busted lid, the platter is still attached, which luckily has not caused damage, but the bias weight had gone walkies. Dozy bastard. I'll be wanting some money back, maybe all of it. If he was in front of me I'd probably bust his hooter!!
