Default Now I'm nervous - Help!

I have just bought on ebay an 'electronic stylus cleaner. New Old Stock, made by Audio Protec. (No, it's NOT the Audio Technica job but similar).

Should I be afraid to use it? Will it damage styli?

I have a Dynavector 10x5 on my Nottinham Analogue Junior spacedeck & the blurb says not to use one - so I won't! But on my Lenco I have a Shure M97xE with Jico SAS needle, a Nagaoka 110, a Goldring G800 with generic stylus, an AT 95E, plus a whole gamut of 78rpm styli from Esoteric in the USA.
Am I OK to use it with these?

I have read that one should use it sparingly; perhaps twice a year. True?

And, yes, I have an RCM, so my discs are usually pretty clean.

    Thoughts please.
    Julian.

If you have any doubts, try the AT95E first as the stylus is as cheap as chips to replace.

I use a Goldring audio stylus cleaner, have had it for years and have never experienced any problems using it.
