That has to be worth having for the money. I'd service it myself, but not everybody would. The arm was designed with higher compliance cartridges in mind, but if fitted with the fluid damper, it can work with lower compliances. The headshell assembly may be light, but it is very rigid and high energy MCs should not cause undue resonances.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
