That's a nice set up you have Don, I use AN amps myself, running a couple of Empress Silver edition mono blocks, absolutely love them, best amps Ive had in the system yet. Wait till you get your AN-E speakers, the system will come alive even more!

Apparently the speakers may be here as early as the end of next week. Can't wait!

I got so excited about the new (AN-E SPE HE) speakers arriving soon that I forgot to say that those amps are gorgeous! I would love to hear your system with them, especially with the AN-K/SPe speakers. I know that they are more monitor sized, but there is quite a faithful following for AN-Ks, especially the SPe version. I read on an American forum that one of the dealers had been loving using the Empress Silver mono blocks for a while. He had access to much higher up the food chain, but never felt sad having to go back to the Empress Silver. I think that they are his favourites.

I bought an isolation platform a couple of weeks ago to improve the audio/video stand that my turntable is sitting on. It is a cheap unit from Costco. At some point I am going to get a local craftsman to put together a well made stand for me. I have three different guys to choose from, including the fellow that made the isolation platform. Of course, I will have to convince my wife that it's ok for me to change furniture in the family room

Thank you. I found out today that the speakers are shipping out tomorrow from the UK, so I can pick them up in about a week. Unfortunately, I will be busy with work then but should find the time shortly thereafter to take the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria to pick them up.

Can't wait!

I have run across a couple of beautifully recorded albums on Record Store Day. As well, I replaced my Zerostat. Once I replaced it, I realized that the old one did nothing. Completely worn out!

I have also replaced my phono cable with an Audio Note A -Vx. Between that and an NOS RCA 5U4GB, I am getting gorgeous sound!
