    Default My system

I understand you like pictures so here's my unusual set up.Sorry about the bad picture, the light makes it hard...

Imac to Beresford Bushmaster Mk 2 to Rotel RA-04 to Celestion CS135 sub woofer and Monitor Audio Silver 1 or Grado SR 60 headphones.

I also have a Project Debut turntable.

I use the MS-814's for sound when watching stuff on the mac on the sofa behind. All pretty cheap stuff except the speakers which are new. Be gentle. Sounds good to me!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Looks just fine. A bit like a tidier version of mine.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

If you like it, that's all that matters. But more lava lamps needed; you can never have too many!
But I would suggest some better support for the LPs, or they may bend.

No need to replace the rack, just store the LPs upright by fully filling one shelf and supporting those on the second shelf with something large and heavy. And get those LPs off the floor - stacking them horizontally won't do them any good at all. File them vertically on the second shelf!
