No worries dude. I might buy some for nostalgia purposes. This is a shame you feel like this but i hope you keep something back for old times sake. Do you have any bits left i might like? Leak , Trio , Sort of a thing. Do you still have the FM3?

    Hi Dan

Yeh i kept an amp back, the one i use.. I see your trying out an Akai 'AA 1030'. Ive been looking for a mint 'AA5000' Amp for years. The only amp i liked of theirs.

Yeh still got the 'FM-3' for sale.

    Hi

I don't know i just cannot keep one amplifier i have to have several for some reason but you have the knowledge to repair if a problem accrues. Yes trying the Akai out i bought i cheap but then again its worth next to nothing anyway although its a very nice sound and the built in tuner is a lovely feature also has the 2 phono stages of the era which is nice . This one is clean with the box and Manuel. I'm also using a GXC 46D Tape deck at present to match thats also not a bad sounding unit too but i dont want to bore you as you slowly moving away from the hobby. I might be able to afford the FM3 to match my 3 Series Quads come payday if possible but saving up for a car after i have passed my test ETC so will need to let you know ASAP.
