    Default A few Snapshots

Campfire close up at Semerwater near Bainbridge in Wensleydale.

    The marshes at Redcar

    Aysgarth Falls in Wensleydale

    Scarborough Lights

    The Jetty at Redcar Gare

This is in Scotland somewhere near Stirling I think, I stayed in a B&B here when I took myself off for a mad drive a while back, haven't managed to find it again since, which is a shame because the whole area is thoroughly beautiful. If anyone recognises it, please let me know..

That shot was actually the view through a big window on a landing in the B&B I stayed in, heres the view from the front door.

Lovely shots. I've never been to stay north of Liverpool, but the car views on my trips to Linn in Glasgow were magnificent. If we ever move again, I reckon we should seriously consider Northumberland on the coast, although I'd be happy with Llandudno (many happy memories there and family not too far away )

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that looks further north than Sterling.

Think you and Ali are right.

Just trying to trace my route from hazy memory now.

I know I set out northish from Stirling and swung sort of north west towards the coast and eventually ended up on the Isle of Sky but I stopped at this place on route so to speak.

To make matters worse, I know this B&B has its own web site, I just can't remember its name.

Its kinda doing my head in

next time anyone's in Skye, look up Skye-Mastering on the web. This guy has some amazing stories to tell of his work in the seventies and eighties for and with George (Porky) Peckham and at Nimbus.. I believe he has a rental holiday property too..
