Who would have thought the story of the Emperors New Clothes would ever be true, spending money on virtual nothingness. Crazy.

I hope for a technology backlash sometime soon, people texting while driving, walking across busy roads typing away, utter madness!!!

Brainless, moronic idiots, who are cocooned inside their own ‘little bubble’, completely oblivious to the world around them! Folk want to be constantly ‘plugged into’ some gizmo or other, 24/7, almost as if *THAT* is their life!

Are you controlling technology, or is it controlling YOU?

Here’s the acid test… Switch off your computer, mobile phone, tablet, or whatever other electronic communication pish you’ve got, for just ONE DAY, and see how you’d cope…………………….. How much would you miss it???

Who wants to give it a go?

I can go weeks without using my (ancient) mobile phone, and if I didn’t have this place to run, I could quite happily live without a computer, or being ‘connected’, as it were. No Problem!

We all love music here, right? But who feels that they have to have a pair of headphones stuck inside their lug-holes every time they go out of the house??

No-one seems able to just enjoy some peace and quiet anymore…. On the very rare occasions I’m on a bus or a train for any length of time, I’m quite happy either looking out of the window or reading a (real) book or a magazine - or shockarooney - TALKING to another human being…..!

I DON”T need a fooking Kindle, Tablet, mobile phone or an MP3 player to keep me ‘occupied’!!

Well never for me... I'd much rather wait until I get home to hear my music properly

    EXACTLY, Bev!

Or perhaps, for pleasurable, or even safety reasons, you like having your wits about you (as if you’re being distracted listening to music, you leave yourself more vulnerable to being mugged or goodness knows what), or just simply enjoy listening to and interacting with the environment around you?

    I know that I do.
