    You can buy replacement voice coils from China etc... I've done it once on a pair of Mission 751 it was quite fiddly but worked very well - They actually sounded better than I'd ever heard them afterwards.

    Didn't know that James. Fancied having a go at winding a pair. Don't have a micrometer to find out what gauge the wire is though. I think it has an impedance of 6. something.

    At least you used to be able to ! I bought them from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CN-AUDIO-PA...p2047675.l2563

    They usually have hundreds of different diaphragms & voice coils but the shop is strangely empty could be worth messaging them ?

    Found it has a diameter of 20mm, nominal resistance of 6.25 R and an inductance of 50uH.
