    I'm Chris.

    Default Turntable maintenance.

Before I begin using my old turntable again I would like to make sure it is at its optimum. Its direct drive so no belt required, but is it worth going inside to blow out dust etc, or leave well alone and just renew the stylus?
Can`t find a thing about this unit anywhere, so going in a bit blind. Its a Toshiba SR Q660, but general good turntable practices are probably all I need.
Gota general idea of tracking and weight etc.............

Probably nothing to do other than to check when the platter is removed for the presence or not of small oil hole near the spindle,if there is one a few drops of sewing machine oil or similar will probably be needed.
