In your User Control Panel (UserCP) - Scroll Down the left hand menu til you get to 'Edit Options' - in that you'll find the option to 'save a copy of sent messages in my 'Sent Items' folder by default.
Make sure this is ticked.
Enjoy being able to archive your messages!
