Well, there don't seem to be any pictures of me and I've just noticed that I don't appear to cast a reflection in the mirror either. What can that possible mean...?

    Cheers

I'm not at all sure that this election of a reflection of your complexion is at all satisfactory.

Thanks for your assistance, but 'er indoors and I have been through all that and more; even got to posting on Photobucket, but that's where the road runs out. I think we'll have to wait until someone actually shows us. And you think you're a digital duffer? Boy, you've nuttin' on me; you may be middle-aged, but I represent stone-age when it comes to folowing computer-speak.

Arrow Sorting out Mike's pic posting problems...

    Hi Mike,

First of all, do you have pictures saved to either 'My Pictures' or 'My Documents' on your hard-drive?

If you don't then get whatever images you want to post, saved. If you already have some saved, then click here: http://imageshack.us/

You'll then be on the Imageshack homepage. You don't need to sign-up to use it.

    1) Click on the grey coloured tab marked "Browse"; this will cause a pop-up window to appear containing all your images saved in 'My Pictures' on your hard-drive. You will also see a drop-down menu where you can access any images you've saved into 'My Documents'.

    2) Simply click on the image you wish to upload in the pop-up window and its file name will appear in front of you. Then click on 'Open'.

You will then see the file name of the image you wish to upload appear in the box on the Imageshack screen.

    3) What you then need to do is make sure the 'Upload Images/Videos' box is ticked at the top, not the 'URL' one, and then tick the 'Resize Image' box and select the option '640 x 480 for message boards' from the drop-down window on the right. Then tick the 'remove size/resolution bar from the thumbnail' box underneath.

    Then click on 'Start Upload'...

The uploading process will then begin and you'll see an progress indicator bar appear at the top of the screen. Allow it to finish the process - it will take a couple of minutes. Once done, you will be presented by a screen showing pictures of the image you wish to upload.

    4) Go over to the right-hand side of the screen and look for the heading 'Get Links and Codes for All Images'. Then select ‘BB Codes’ from the drop-down menu and simply copy and paste the first code at the top (from ‘URL’ to ‘URL’) and paste it into the posting box on the forum, and your chosen image should appear thus (which is then clickable to enlarge, if wanted):
