The paintings were by one of my brothers. The crucifiction is a deceptive one, not biblical in nature, British scenery, telegraph poles in the background, and I'm tied on using electrical cable. I told him the nails were in the wrong place as well
He currently has a painting on exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.

You can see what I mean, though... Just imagine the above text superimposed into the picture: "'Allo ladeez, my name ees Antoine de la Cruz and I am your gigolo for zees evening. Enter my Citroën and prepare to be relieved of your panties". [Haw di haw]...

Or it could read: "I've got a Jaaag outside, sweety... Fancy going for a little spinette, then back to my place for a Martini?"

Well, like my username, my Avatar doesn't take much explaining, and if you've seen it, you've seen me and my little girl Tamzin, who will be 1 next month. Here's a slightly more recent one.

I'm not really that chubby in real life... ok, yes I am - I gave up smoking 3 stone ago, and am now starting the battle of the bulge 18 months on. Still can't give up the red wine though!

Mike - as soon as I saw your pic I thought I recognised you, then noticed you are from Norwich which was my stomping ground until a few years ago. Having peeked at your profile that doesn't really help, 'cos I doubt you'd be old enough to have been a teacher I would have known, so not sure where I (think) I recognise you from - unless you've just got one of "those" faces - no offence intended!

ALEX, I'm afraid I probably am old enough to have been one of your teachers; however, I kind of retired to Norwich eight years ago, having done my time in and around Thanet, Kent in the seventies and eighties.

Guess I must have a familiar fizzog !!! Beautiful little girl you have there, b.t.w.

That's probably it, unless I've seen you hanging around Sevenoaks or other dubious retail establishments! No, actually now I remember, it was Crimewatch!
