    Anyone fancy some blinged up Ardens? You will need to take a long drive for the collection though.

    Actually looks like a reasonable price. The seller says he has had them since new and judging from his other kit (accuphase amps?) I reckon he looked after the Ardens well.

    A few decades ago 220V was the voltage here in Europe. Not 230V as it is nowadays.

    Still is (effectively) in many places, the 230v is an average that enables us Brits and a few other oddball places to meet the standard, which is set pretty widely as a result.

    I wonder though, whether this means that kit designed for 220v is likely to prematurely age (eg transformer) when used in areas like mine where the mains runs at up to 245v ?
