    Don't know about better - the Alphason is a superb arm - but I must say I have always quite fancied this arm on looks alone. Not quite sure what cartridges it would be best with though.

    Well put it this way, I would rather spend £550 on a Grace 714 than on the Alphason.

    The Alphason is a fine arm, but the arm tube/headshell always looks to me as if it was made in a school metalwork class.

    I've rather taken a liking to the looks of the Abis SA-1 tonearm.

    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
