“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".
“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”
“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

There's a similar scam for a pair of McIntosh MC275 amps on U.K. EBay. I've reported them about 10 times to EBay. Being sold under different accounts each time. Someone must have hacked a lot of EBay accounts.
they've robbed the pic and description from the uk listing of the supex sd-900 super ive bought a few times! BIN of £25!! lol
My System
John Wood KT88 Amp.
Paradise Phono Stage
Sony TTS-8000 Turntable.
PMAT-1010 MK6 Tonearm.
Ortofon Cadenza Bronze
Sony X555ES Cd Player
Yamaha NS1000m Speakers
What worries me is that the fake email this guy sent me had my delivery address - the only way he could have it is if he hacked my account. If I report that then my account will be out of use for up to 6 weeks. Though it may be the only way to shut him down.
The frustrating thing is that here in Spain I could get a tel number on eBay.co.uk but when I dialed it it cut me dead because I was calling from Spain and we are supposed to have our own number - but the Spanish site is different and no way could I get hold of it to report this tw*t.
I've changed my passwords on eBay and PayPal - but maybe if I report it as hacked more action will be taken.
EBay is crap at dealing with this.

Lovely amp, I bet it performs well.
Re Ebay, I think they are pretty idiotic. A few years ago I sold about 10 pairs of ex BBC and Rogers speakers for a friend which he had accumulated, we using Ebay for selling.
After the sales my account was frozen and I was accused of stealing them, followed by Paypal freezing my account and accusing me of money laundering.
Ebay asked me to to prove ownership, and fortunately my friend had receipts for most, many purchased from, yes, Ebay, so they actually had records themselves of these events.
I had to threaten Paypal with litigation, and eventually they reinstated me, and gave me £50 compensation.
The really ridiculous part is that they asked me to get my bank to verify me, who would only do so by post, whilst Paypal would only accept communication by Email, so they wouldn't talk to each other, and I was stuck in the middle.
Concerning eBay emails please do not sign in using the links in the email, always switch to a browser or app. Reason being some scam emails being apparently sent from eBay will ask you to log in by pressing on a link within the email, your log in details will be stolen by a third party...I cannot stress this enough. eBay will not help if any money is stolen through this method your PayPal if connected will be vulnerable too.
