    Default Cyrus anniversary limited edition

Saw this on eBay which looks very nice and similar to my system. Good price if it could be got down to 5.5 or 6 max. Sorry if in wrong place, but technically I'm not selling it so maybe it shouldn't be in classifieds. Just thought I'd raise it.

    Yes, that's filth.

Orange and black VUs, yum yum. Power button light is the correct colour too.

Nice looking pair of vintage KEF Corelli speakers. At 99p so far, with one bid. In Worcestershire.

I recently bought a pair and renovated them. In my opinion they are the best all rounder of the early 'C' models. They sound very fine! Quite a rare model.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I found the Corelli's suffered from Bextrene 'quack' in the midrange which spoilt an otherwise reasonably good speaker.

I have two pairs, agree with the above, but they are certainly much better than the Chorale, Cantor or Coda which I also have.

In fact I seem to hear the Bextrene 'quack' in most speakers that use that material, however, in a few it is reduced to a very low level that is almost imperceptible. One of these speakers is my Rogers LS3/6 fitted with Dalesford units, this effectively makes them identical to early Rogers Export Monitors. My Chartwell LS3/5a's suffer from the 'quack' only very slightly more.

I'm familiar with 'bextrene quack', having had many older KEF's and B&W's. But I don't find it noticeable on my Corellis.

Bugger! I just tried to buy something on ebay and the payment system is not cooperating. PayPal, credit cards and debit cards not being accepted.
