    don't know whether curing the protection mode issue is a major problem but if not this pioneer sa 8100 at 75 +15 postage looks cheap.

    Doesn't look too bad either.

    For the money, its impossible to beat imo. 250ish for what is a superb tonearm is a bargain

    where are you seeing 75? its an auction with 1 bid at 50.

    The BIN of 75 disappeared once someone bid. Probably go for more than 75 now.

    This is same as mine. Great amp and worth money. Won't be that hard to get fixed either. They go often for 200/350 depending on condition

    Why not just get a Denon PMA-350SE for about 60 and enjoy some remarkably good sound and plenty of poke. It may not be the ultimate amp, but it's damn good and you won't find much to better it under 400. If you're lucky, you may get one with the very good optional phono stage.

    Good amps for the money. Not a looker but work well enough. Prefer my old big Sony personally
