I'm Mike.
KEF Kit 3 speakers (Concerto). Going very cheap so far. In Cumbria.

Nice beefy sounding old speaker the Concerto. Surprisingly accurate tonally too.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
A sign of the times? £800 for a Connoisseur BD103 + SMEIIIs + Stanton 681EEE. NUTS!!

Yes. The BD103 is rare, but only because they couldn't sell them. Against the comparatively priced German and Japanese decks of the time it looked home made.
The SMEIII is the least popular model from that maker (so far).
And the Stanton is OK (ish), but nothing desperately exciting.

I'm Dennis.
There is a pair of ESS AMT 1Ds on Ebay, quite new as they have the most recent AMT with thicker pole plates.
Bearing in mind that on release in about '85 this speaker was about 569$, a lot of speaker for the money especially then.
I also saw a pair of JM labs at £30k which were listed new at £60k.
