I've just seen his updated description (which has now ended) looks like some unfortunate sole has bought it. I will indeed be logging a complaint with eBay for rubbishing my wife's eBay i.d. I have half a mind to pay him another visit. I'd also like to publicly thank Ollie (Bigman80) for his advice and time spared to look over the TT.
Cheers A
Edwards Audio TT with upgraded Acutex 410e cartridge and a Little Belter blue drive belt, Onkyo A9010 amp, B&W 600 Series 2 speakers, Cambridge audio CD200 player & Pure DAC iPod/iPhone docking station. Love vinyl
I've seen people pay more for worse stuff. I wouldn't pay more than $400, and that would be a stretch. I have plenty of storage space to keep it in until I found someone to buy it.

You can report it to ebay if there are doubts about the item being serviceable as described. I see the base cover is missing from the turntable (as is common on these).
See the 'report item' bit in blue on the right above the description.
You can also complain about being mentioned. You may have to phone ebay to do this though. Their phone helpline is pretty good.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
