Not heard this Amp, but have heard Anthony's Amps, and apart from being a great guy, to say he knows his stuff is an understatement...
Sure Anthony could give more details on this one..
That is a whole lot of amp for the money.

Thanks for heads up Sean - I've contacted the seller so here's hoping.

I see neither Anthony nor indeed Marco has come on to talk about this one so I thought I'd attempt to provide some context here ... this is not one of Anthony's famous ground up creations (aka 'Copper Amp'), rather it's one of several Tube Distrinctions/AoS branded, modified versions of Chinese-made amps. That's not to say it isn't good, but while it uses some of Anthony's mods to the circuit, it still uses the original Chinese transformers and is therefore ultimately limited in what it can do.

I had one of Anthony's modded amps for a while (actually a modded Puresound P30) and it actualy saw off some serious competition ... this was not the same as this one listed on ebay - though I have heard one of this design and considered the one I had to be quite a bit better ... but while good, a Copper Amp it most certainly wasn't. (Copper amp is probably £5k plus - and you get what you pay for).

I think the price in this listing is ambitious I'd be looking about £750 sort of mark for this one if I was going for it. Something to bear in mind.

Looks like a good clean would bring the finish up to scratch. Got the lid and hinges too. Bargain at that price. Buy it and wait for a mission 774 to come up.

You'd get a buyer straight away at the minute. There are a few people on here waiting for one to come up.

Grab it somebody. It's the best kept secret in Hi-Fi, a top sounding turntable.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
