They are pretty minty. Stands included too. I'd be tempted if I was a vintage collector.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
I'm really tempted as I've read good reviews about them... They will go into my "use in the future collection" if I do buy them.
The history of them being one owner from new is what got my initial interest as I've bought some good speakers off first owners and they tend to be well looked after
Beefy sounding speakers. Well reviewed back in the seventies. Worth trying if they can be bought for less than maybe £85. I'd not pay more myself. The Wharfedale Dovedale III is a close relative and has a similar balance.
The bass drivers have a little 'cone sag'. Rotating them 180 degrees should cure that after a while (they'll need to sag back into position).
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
