Yeah I understand that but they are probably twice what they are worth on a normal market at best tbh. I have uckily found the beauty of full range drivers that produce music the way I like nit and cost a fraction of what multi driver speakers cost. A bit of work is required but the end result is superb imo. Some of these old drivers are fabulous and a audio bargain

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Yes Grant I know they are probably overpriced but they do sound fantastic... once heard never forgotten...

I used Lowther full range drivers for a while and they sounded absolutely superb for certain music types, but not for all... what the Lowthers did they did very well indeed, and they did have a certain 'magic' about them but they were fraught with problems... which made me sell them in the end.. just to much of a finicky product to live with

I also made a pair of Voigt pipe speakers using some Fostex full range drivers which were great fun to make and to listen to..... however I still moved them on and I went back to multi driver's....
