Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Superb ZYX R100 Yatra MC cartridge in the US. Could be a bargain. These sound beautiful. I've got one.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I like the look of these. Probably sound ok for anyone wanting a simple music set up (has phono stage too) and for less than £40:

Some people and their "Make an Offer" attitudes!

I made an offer on a mobile phone for just £20 less than the seller's Buy It Now. Their response? A Counter Offer of their BIN price ! "If you're looking for a cheap bargain, then look elsewhere. This is pristine and almost as new".

The funny thing is they've reduced their BIN from £350 to £300 over the last four or five weeks and when it was at £350 I offered £315 via Make an Offer and it was rejected with the same reasoning

Interesting to get inside people's wierd emotional mindset of selling ..

I really, really want these, but I don't have room. Altec 846B speakers. I've heard them a couple of times and they sound superb.

Well, that was £180 well spent!!!
Much louder, just much more of everything. Bold but not brash. Excellent. Definitely well pleased. A true bargain.
