    Say's he's keeping one so has another up a sleeve somewhere (don't know why, but I'm imagining a sleeve of a Noel Coward style dressing gown, as if he lives in a small manor house..) .

    The '700' was a loverly machine, even more so in the flesh.These came out around 1973.. {That is a Mk.I version btw}.. I really do not have time for 1980's Naks..

    Linlithgow is an upper crust area on the whole although not in its entirety. A lot of rich folk live there as well as aspiring ones lol. the older part has a lot of normal council houses. my sis in law used to teach in the high school. of course it was originally the Scottish capital too.

    Pretty sure Ive met the guy before. he used to have lots of top tape machines.
