    Never saw that. Been after one of those 'Golden Shadows' for yonks..

    around £400 is good considering those Mayware arms fetch over £200 alone. I got a spare motor for it is that's what it is. However it's sold now..

    Perhaps its the TT's then, I've mounted P7e/P8e's on my old Ariston RD80/Basic LVX and on the Rega P25 and it's always noticeable. just a gentle tap on the lid sounds like an explosion Still lovely carts though..
    Add water... Makes It's own sauce! + Don't Do Rap.. Don't do Urrban.. Don't do Modern R&B and Don't Do Radio 1 cos it's all fecking SHITE

    You need a low mass arm for that AKG. The 'LVX aint one.. The 'P8e' is a very high compliant cart of around 35x it would suit my arm to a 'T'

    The AKG P8ES works well in an SME 3009 (either 'Improved' or the Mk.II version, and either fixed headshell or detatchable headshell). IMO it is one of the best cartridge for rock music, though it was designed with classical music in mind.

    I won a NOS Super Nova last year but it never arrived. Fuming was an understatement.. The P8e i have has a duff channel
