Sonab OA-5 vintage omnidirectional speakers in decent condition. These are quite nice sounding. No bids yet, starting price of £100.

    In London, ending shortly.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Ive been thinking about Omni Speakers for a while, i recon i'll probably end up with a pair, im in a very small room where speaker placement is a no no, beside im not a fan of yer general forward facing units..

Did you know Tannoy made an Omni Loudspeaker in the early 70's..

    That'll be a fiver loike..

I think those small cone tweeters were Peerless and sounded pretty good.

I've heard a pair of 12" Silvers, upward facing in what I believe were genuine Tannoy omnidirectional cabinets.

“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

The name rings a bell, but those I saw definitely had Silvers in.
