I'm guessing many have never heard a pair used with quality amplification that compliments them Andr'e... Old pair of Durhams I had sounded pish on some very well respected SS amps and yet when connected to a decent EL34 amp they produced one of the finest sound's I've ever achieved [well, for acoustic type music anyway!]

When i had the 'Pembrokes' i was using Manticore 'Mantra'/Manticore 'Magician'/Mayware 'MC-7V'+'T24'.. Quad '44'/'405/2'

Sounded wonderful.

The Conway Mk.II are the only pair of Castles i did not like. Love the Mk.I's tho

Just a crazy price... I just can't believe they are worth that sort of money, I bet the seller is well happy though
