Was it one of us that got it?

I might too .. it would be greedy seeing as I have an STA100 being restored and an STA25 already purring away.

Two pairs of speakers at one of my local (and somewhat overpriced) antique/second hand shops. Rogers LS7's and Mission 770's. £650 and £140.

£650 for Rogers LS7s? Way Way overpriced. Max £200 if in reasonable condition. ~£400 if in pristine condition.

The shop is having a laugh.

£650 Dan. Same place as those Dovedales, remember? I would say Edward is probably right, the shopowner seems to pitch his prices too high. He is also pretty stubborn with offers. Not a great combination for a sale!

He is probably simply waiting for someone passing by who has a fond memory of Roger's speakers and does not know how to use the interwebthingamajig to ascertain recently sold prices.

He likely got those speakers in a house clearance sale and got the owners to pay him to take stuff away.
